Karl Karner has given his drawings feet by printing them on WOLFORD tights. This transforms the wearers themselves into performers and makes them part of the piece. Art is taken out of the exhibition space and performance takes place in public.
He sees humans as producers of culture, but also as products of their culture. In the field of media society, Karl Karner stages the question of what it means to be human and, as the creator of new intersections, creates an unsettling, deformed counterworld.
